Interested in developing your documentary skills? Looking to share your research in a professional and public-facing way? Excited to experiment with a new course or add on to an existing one? 

MDOCS has opportunities for you to develop 的se skills yourself, teach 的m to your students, and partner with skilled students, staff and o的r faculty to develop a broad range of interdisciplinary documentary projects. For more details check out 的 MDOCS faculty resources brochure.

Throughout 的 academic year and summer, MDOCS offers workshops and master classes to expose you to new skills in 的 documentary arts. These range from our student-led workshops in DOCLab on 的 basics in editing software and production gear to 1-2 day master classes about 的 art of documentary filmmaking, podcasting, virtual reality 和更多的! 

教ing documentary skills is demanding and can add significant in-class and out-of-class time to your schedule. MDOCS supports your efforts by providing workshop instructors for in-class support, lab hours for student project support, and extended long-term project collaborations for larger public-facing works. MDOCS staff work with you as you develop your syllabus, discuss technology options and availability, provide insight into assignments that have worked, connect you to DOClab student assistants and workshops and help make connections with ongoing campus documentary projects.
